Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network
The Yellowstone Ecological Research Center is the premier study group that conducts various research projects throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
I have a particular affinity for Yellowstone, since I worked at Old Faithful for 3 summers, hiked many of the trails throughout Yellowstone, and met my wife there. I almost worked for them in grad school.
Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network
The LTER Network is way for researchers and students to come together to work on ecological problems at varying geographical scales.
